Belmo Group (previously known as Prestige Residential) began its journey with the acquisition of management rights to Republic Apartments in Brisbane, 2011. Following the successful development and subsequent sale of this asset in 2013, the company reinvested in Vine Apartments and later Opera Apartments, establishing a solid foothold in the Brisbane market.
The strategic disposal of these initial three properties laid the foundation for a period of significant expansion. Over the next five years, the group experienced rapid growth, expanding from two operations to a diversified portfolio of 19 businesses across the permanent letting, building management, and short-term accommodation sectors. In parallel, Belmo Group strategically expanded into the hotel management market, bringing its operational expertise and customer-focused approach to a broader hospitality audience.

With over seven years of hands-on hotel operations experience, she brings a deep understanding of how day-to-day management connects with broader commercial outcomes.
Shani plays a key role in maximising profitability by analysing market trends, competitor activity, and booking patterns to develop tailored pricing strategies for each property. In addition to her revenue responsibilities, she also leads key business projects, including the setup of new properties and the continual refinement of internal systems and processes to support long-term growth.
Emily has a strong background in finance, development, and consultancy within the hotel management industry. As our Accounts & Administration Manager, she supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and oversees cash flow management, while working closely with our accountancy partners. Leading a team that supports daily hotel operations, including accounts payable and payroll, Emily ensures both the strategic and operational financial health of the business.
Emma has been an integral part of Belmo for over 12 years, working alongside her husband Ben. Emma’s parents had been in the hotel management industry for over 30 years domestically and internationally which fuelled Emma’s desire to enter the industry with their unique insight into premium property and hospitality operations. Emma plays a vital role in supporting the team and contributing to a wide range of projects. Her enthusiasm, reliability and positive energy create the supportive and close knit environment that Belmo is known for.
